Amplifiers for DNA identification
Collection for two amplifiers “Veriti Pro 96-well Thermal Cycler HID / PCR System” manufactured by Thermo Fisher Scientific (USA) for the State Scientific Research Forensic Centre of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
Importance of the project
Ukrainian soldiers are fighting the russian occupiers, defending both their homeland and the whole of Europe.
Unfortunately, this leads to a significant number of dead and missing military and civilians, especially in the areas of active hostilities. In this regard, the Ministry of Internal Affairs has an urgent need to increase the number of equipment for DNA identification of the dead.
The State Scientific Research Forensic Centre of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine conducts forensic molecular genetic examinations of the victims of the armed aggression of the russian federation against Ukraine, with the aim of further identification of their identity by DNA analysis.
These amplifiers will significantly accelerate the work of the Forensic Centre of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine to solve these problems.
