All-Ukrainian Competition on Smart Device Modeling, organized by the “Educational Initiatives Foundation” Charitable Foundation and the State Scientific Institution “Institute for the Modernization of Content of Education” under the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
About the Competition
Event Objective: To foster the development of technological competence, research skills, project-based thinking, and the intellectual potential of young people. The event helps participants apply their knowledge in practice and cultivates an interest in STEM fields.
Participants: Teams of 2 to 6 students (aged 12–18) from secondary schools, vocational institutions, and higher education establishments. The event is open to young people with an interest in science, technology, engineering, and the creation of original solutions.
Scope of Competition: Innovative research projects, the development of smart solutions, and the creation of models for “smart” devices. Participants present their own ideas and demonstrate their practical application through finished models or prototypes.
Support: Assisting talented youth in developing STEM competencies, research and project-management skills, and guiding them in choosing a future professional path.
Relevant for 2026–2027
In 2026, the project brought together current technological and educational fields, inviting participants to work on projects within the following categories:
- UAV Workshop
- Digital Environment Security
- Cyber-Greenhouse
- Art Workshop: Sensory Installations
- Telecommunications Workshop
- Technology and Business
- Mathematics in Engineering
Key requirements for the projects include a focus on regenerative technologies, solutions for the community, and alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals. This thematic scope allows for the integration of technical creativity, research, and the practical application of developments to address real-world challenges.
From Knowledge to Practice
The project creates a space for young people where technological knowledge can be transformed into practical solutions. Participants not only study modern technologies but also develop an engineering mindset, teamwork skills, and expertise in research and design. Crucially, the outcomes go beyond mere academic exercises; they result in ideas and prototypes with the potential to benefit communities, the educational environment, and the recovery of Ukraine.
