On 22 November, students and teachers participating in the final of the All-Ukrainian competition for modelling smart devices “STEAM House” 2024 had an interesting and inspiring tour of the classrooms of American University Kyiv, which is the official partner in Ukraine of Arizona State University (ASU), which has been repeatedly recognised as the first in the United States in terms of innovation and global influence.
The STEAM guests of the University learned more about the possibilities of technological and business educational programmes of the university, the IT laboratory and library, the specifics of admission and some extraordinary facts about the history of AUK.
At the end of the event, an incredible surprise awaited the educators – a meeting with NASA – National Aeronautics and Space Administration Astronaut Terry Virts and his fascinating story about his journey in space.
We would like to thank our friends, university professors Alexandra Antoniouk and Viktor Putrenko, for their attention to STEM guests from the Educational Initiatives Foundation.
